Who we are
Recruited.ie is the web domain of Recruited Approach Limited T/A HortiRecruit a fully licenced EA4687 recruitment business. By subscribing to receive job alerts or, applying for jobs online and submitting your cv, you are agreeing to share your data with potential employers.
Updated 24th of May 2018 to reflect and incorporate the EU’s new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We will continually be proactive to any concerns users may have about any type of data we collect and therefore will continue to add updates here as we improve our data and GDPR compliance.
In a nutshell: we believe in the spirit of GDPR and protecting your privacy as a business or consumer.
Without your consent, we won’t ever pass your details on to a third party.
You can ask to see any information we may have stored about you.
You can opt-out or ask us to do so at any time.

How do we use your information?
We may use the information we collect from you when you register, make a purchase, sign up for our newsletter, respond to a survey or marketing communication, surf the website, or use certain other site features in the following ways:
- To personalise your experience and allow us to deliver the content and product offerings in which you are most interested.
- To improve our website in order to better serve you.
- To allow us to better serve you in responding to your customer service requests.
- To quickly process your transactions.

Who do we share your data with?
For users who register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information. Any registered user can also at anytime ask us to delete any backend data. We are not a data-centric business. Also for example, if you receive our e-newsletter, we do not generally have first or surnames linked to emails and only gather essential data such as email addresses to send you relevant information for your business and professional career. We have never shared or sold any of YOUR information to any other 3rd party.
What rights do you have over your data?
It’s your data from the start and it is your right to ask us to remove any or all that we may have. If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. More importantly, you can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you within a 30-day deadline. When do we collect information?
We collect information from you when you register on our site, apply for a job, subscribe to a newsletter, respond to a survey, enter a competition, fill out a form, sign up for future job alerts, use our live chat service to enter information that will help us to serve you best or sign up for our recruitment services.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website. Images used by HortiRecruit are either obtained directly from the employer or taken by our own photographers.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website. If you are diverted to another website from ours please be careful that you are aware of their data policies.
How do we protect your information?
Our website is scanned on a regular basis for security holes and known vulnerabilities in order to make your visit to our site as safe as possible. We use regular Malware Scanning. Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. In addition, all sensitive/credit information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.
We implement a variety of security measures when a user places an order enters, submits, or accesses their information to maintain the safety of your personal information.
All transactions are processed through a gateway provider Stripe and are not stored or processed on our servers.
Do we use ‘cookies’?
We do not use cookies for tracking purposes.
You can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies. You do this through your browser settings. Since browsers are a little different, look at your browser’s Help Menu to learn the correct way to modify your cookies in order to best protect yourself.
